The Answer Isn’t the Same

There are questions you have been asked many times.

What do you do?
What do you want?
What matters most to you?

For a long time, the answers came easily.

You didn’t have to think about them. They were already formed, already familiar, already ready to be spoken.

And then, at some point, something changes.

The question is the same.

But the answer pauses.

Not because you don’t know yourself.

But because what once felt certain no longer fits in the same way.

You may find yourself giving a shorter answer. Or a different one. Or none at all.

You may notice that what used to feel clear now feels quieter, less defined, still forming.

This is not confusion.

It is movement.

You are not losing yourself.

You are updating.

There is no requirement to keep offering the same answer just because it once felt true.

You are allowed to take your time with what comes next.

Tenderly,
Tabby
